Touch 8Gb Ipod – What A Fun Little Device
I love my Touch 8GB iPod! I bought it because I needed to be able to play music for a class I teach and decided on the iPod because it would do a lot of other things too. I am already using it to keep track of my shopping list (which replaced an old Palm). I can keep track of the weather for my whole family, which is living around the world. It even knew small towns around the world.
I instantly know what time it is in each location, which means I don't call them when they are asleep! Find using it in the car wonderful, since we don't have any radio stations I enjoy listening to in our area. I have purchased several applications and they all run well and are easy to use. I can surf the web while relaxing on the couch and even watch youtube videos on the go (as long as there is wi-fi around).
Have all my friend's contact numbers with me at all times, etc. Sound quality is excellent with the enclosed earbuds and I can actually wear the earbuds without my ears hurting. The microphone works well enough to record notes and will come in handy, as I am preparing to write a book and when the moment of inspiration comes I want to be able to capture the thought no matter where I am. The reminders from iCal work great. The alert sound is pleasant and loud enough to be heard at some distance (which wasn't the case with my old Palm).
The only thing is that you do have to do some searching to find the page that has the owner's manual online. The link on the included instructions no longer takes you there. Also, Apple makes wonderful intuitive products, but their manuals leave something to be desired. If you are not a techie you may not find all the information you need to be able to get your iPod to do everything you want. Luckily I have a store nearby, so when I got stuck I was able to go there in person and get the help I needed.

Touch 8GB iPod 3rd Generation
The only thing I can somewhat complain about would be battery life. I wrote this review with it. It's absolutely amazing! It's a perfect way to waste time at an airport or whenever. I would recommend this over an iPad. iPad's are too big to be portable. These iPods can do everything an iPad can and it's over $200 cheaper. I have 2 movies on it, over 40 apps, and around 200 songs. It still has over 25gb free. Download iTunes and check out thousands of apps you can download for it.

Touch 8GB iPod My Advice!
Incredible device, can not say enough good things about this Touch 8GB iPod. One MAJOR downside for me; Can not use more than one computer which means multiple music or photo files or e-mail from a different user can not be loaded. We are retired and purchased this Touch 8GB iPod for both of us to use and we find we can not. She is Chinese, I am not, so our music taste are obviously very different. It is not affordable for us to purchase another IPOD touch. Therefore she now has a very expensive toy.
